Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your JinRoop account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.
How to Request Account Deletion
Option 1 — From the App
- Open the JinRoop app on your device.
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon on the bottom navigation bar).
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the settings screen.
- Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears. Your account will be permanently deleted.
Option 2 — Via Email
- Send an email to support@jinroop.jinraag.com from the email address associated with your JinRoop account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include your registered name and email address in the body of the email for verification.
- We will process your request and delete your account within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for legal, security, or operational purposes:
Anonymous analytics data — aggregated usage statistics (wallpaper views, feature usage) that cannot be linked back to your identity. This data is retained indefinitely for product improvement.
Subscription records — if you had a premium subscription, transaction records managed by Google Play or Apple App Store are retained by those platforms in accordance with their own data retention policies. JinRoop does not store payment card details.
Legal compliance records — minimal records required to comply with applicable laws (e.g., fraud prevention) may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion.
Retention Period
Upon receiving your deletion request, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. During this period, your account will be immediately deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in.
Important Notes
- ⚠Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- ⚠If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it through Google Play or Apple App Store before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges.
- ⚠Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Google Play or Apple App Store. You must cancel separately.
